Board of Directors
The Foundation Board consists of five members: Maureen Orth, Luz Helena Rada de Cock, Luis Fernando Sanchez, Oscar Suarez Paneso and Hernan Garcia Eusse. Orlando Castrillon serves as Treasurer. School principal Beatriz Cecilia Mejia and educator Michael Cooper are advisors, and teacher Marta Lily Hernandez is Secretary. |

Luz Helena Rada de Cock
(President):
Luz Helena studied Humanities at San Francisco, College for Women, (Lone Mountain) California. She has a teaching credential in Education from the Pontificia Universidad Bolivariana of Medellin. She has been an Adviser of educational practice in the Pontificia Universidad Bolivariana; an Adviser of Financial Management in Uniflor S.A.C.I. She has served on the Board of directors of the following Foundations: Lorenza Quevedo de Cock Foundation (children's education support), Medellin; Promarginados Foundation (housing construction), Medellin; Alumni Association of the Sacred Heart School, Montemayor School, Medellin.

Hernán García Eusse (Vice-president):
Hernan earned his degree as an Administrator of Environmental and Natural Resources from the University Santo Tomas de Aquino; He also has degrees in Water Purification and Chemistry from the University of Antioquia. He is the administrator of the water supply in Aquas Frias. |

Luis Fernando Sánchez Hurtado
(Executive Director):
Luis Fernando obtained a bachelor's degree in Theology from Javeriana University, Bogota and a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Santo Tomas de Aquino University, Bogotá. He earned his masters degree in International Relations from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University. He has studied Scenic Arts and Contemporary Dance at the Casa del Teatro, Bogotá and other institutions. He was a Master of Arts and Philosophy teacher at INSA (Institute Our Lady of Assumption, Cali).

Oscar Suarez Paneso
(Substitute of the Executive Director):
Oscar has a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Bolivariana, Medellin. He has been Manager of Suramericana de Seguros; Manager of the Tequendama Bank; Director of Comfenalco Antioquia; Manager of the Institute of Industrial Promotion, Bogotá; and Manager of Tierras y Ganados S.A., agricultural and cattle company in Medellin.

Mrs. Martha Lily Hernandez
(Secretary):
Martha studied at the Sisters of Our Lady of Peace School. She received a Degree in Elementary Education with English and Language emphasis from Antonio Nariño University, Bogotá. She taught 8 years at The Carmen Teresiano School, Bogota before working the last three years in the Medellin school system.

Michael Cooper
(Special Advisor):
Michael has a Certificate in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. He received a Masters degree in Guidance and Counselling from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education, Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. He is the General Director of Centro Colombo Americano. For twenty-three years he was associated with the private bilingual Columbus School in Medellin, first teaching sixth grade, then as the guidance counsellor and finally principal. He also taught in The Fredericktown Local School District, Fredericktown, Ohio.

Beatriz Cecilia Mejía
(Special Advisor):
Beatriz has a Degree in Elementary Education from the San Buenaventura University, Medellin. She has a Master's Degree in the teaching of Literature from Medellin University; she also has a Master's Degree in Computer Education from Antonio Nariño University, Medellin. She has taught for twenty-five years in Medellin schools and is currently principal of Marina Orth School.

Orlando Castrillón Jiménez
(Treasurer):
Orlando is a certified public accountant. He studied at the Politecnico Colombiano Jaime Isaza Cadavid, University, Bello, where he received a Degree in Accounting. He studied at Carmelitano School of Bello, Antioquia. He has worked for the Transport Operators Cooperative, for two food processing businesses, FRIKO, S.A., Perman S.A. and currently is an accountant for several public schools.
